Lisa Fingleton is an artist, grower and writer based on an organic farm in Kerry. Lisa is currently the embedded artist with Corca Dhuibhne Inbhuanaithe / A Creative Imagining, one of 15 new projects being funded by Creative Ireland’s Creative Climate Action fund. She was the Kerry Visual Artist in Residence 2021. Her new book The Last Hug For While charts the last two years through a series of rhyming couplets and drawings. Her last book The Local Food Project explores the power of growing and eating local food. Incorporating drawings, photography and text, the book is creatively presented in journal style and is filled with ideas and actions for people who think global and want to act local.
