Hi there. Hope you are having a lovely summer. Just wanted to let you know first about some exciting events that are coming up and hope we can connect.

I will be speaking at the Borris Festival of Writing and Ideas next weekend so do come say hello if you are there.

I am really excited to be part of the first ever Ballybunion Arts Festival and will be hosting a Drawing with Nature Workshop from 2pm-4pm on the 11th September here on our organic farm at The Barna Way. It will be a magical afternoon so I hope you can make it.

On Culture Night I will be hosting a very special free event here called This Living Land as part of the Kerry Visual Artist in Residence programme. Advance booking is required for all events so please book early to avoid disappointment.

In light of the recent reports on climate change, there is an ever increasing interest in eating local food and supporting local food producers. For those of you passionate about supporting local food, feel free to join in the 30 Day Local Food Challenge for the month of September. You can join the Facebook group The Local Food Project here. Most of you probably already have my book ‘The Local Food Project’ but if you would like me to dedicate a copy to someone you know please let me know (and I will include a surprise gift). You can order a copy of the book here.

I have also included two links here that I hope you might enjoy. One is a conversation with artists Pauline Bewick and Poppy Melia and the other is a short online workshop on How To Create Your Nature Journal.

Thanks to Kerry Arts Office, Creative Ireland and The Arts Council for your ongoing support. Wishing you all the very best
