The Art of Being in Nature: The Intersection of Art, Food and the Environment
Arts in Junior Cycle in collaboration with Kilkenny County Council Arts Office, Kilkenny Education Centre and artist Lisa Fingleton
The workshop offers participants an opportunity to:
- Consider how artists use their own local environment as a source of inspiration to address ecological and social issues
- Discuss and reflect on the connections between art, food, and farming
- Engage in a range of drawing activities to support reflection
- Share ideas and gain insights into eco-social art practices
Open to teachers from all subject disciplines.
