I am very grateful for the amazing opportunities this year, to connect within inspiring people and engage in meaningful creative projects. It has been wonderful to focus on our work here at The Barna Way and to work on the two large scale Creative Climate Action projects funded through Creative Ireland.
I am very aware of the awful things that are happening around the world as I write, in terms of climate change, biodiversity loss, war and displacement of people. All of my work tries to somehow address these huge global challenges through creative local actions.
I believe that art has the power to create transformation and am very aware of the level of transformative change that is needed. All of our creative imaginations and energies are needed!
